The Golden LEAF Foundation has a new "Community Based Grantsmaking Initiative." Nash County plans to submit a request for Golden LEAF to fund 1-3 projects totaling up to the maximum of $1.5 million in Golden LEAF grant funds. Golden LEAF requires that the request come from the County, but we are seeking applications from NONPROFITS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, COALITIONS & GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES in NASH COUNTY - to help county leaders identify the best possible project(s) to include in our proposal for funding.
