Low Income Energy Assistance Program

Nash County began taking LIEAP applications on December 10, 2025 for the priority group, which are citizens age 60 and older or disabled individuals who receive services through the N.C. Division of Aging and Adult Services.

All other households can apply beginning January 1, 2026.

  • Apply in person at 120 W. Washington Street, Nashville, NC
    Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm
  • Apply online at epass.nc.gov
  • Apply by calling 252-459-9818

In addition to the application, an interview is required, and applicants must provide:

  • Identification
  • Utility Bill
  • Social Security Number for all Household Members
  • Proof of Income for all Household Members
